The study uses a prospective, randomized, single-blind, parallel-controlled clinical design and aims to assess and demonstrate differences, supported by high-quality evidence, in outcomes between an intervention group and a control group that received standard care. The research team comprises nurses from the Department of Endocrinology at Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.

DHL interventions, an emerging management tool for stroke survivors, have the potential to improve the quality of care provided in resource-limited settings [14]. Smoking cessation is an effective approach to preventing diseases related to smoking and reducing the risk of death due to smoking [7]. Traditional ways to increase smoking cessation mainly include providing advice, taking medicines such as bupropion and varenicline, carrying out cessation counseling, and organizing smoking cessation support groups [8,9].
With the development of mobile health, smoking cessation apps are increasingly being used to help smokers quit [10,11].

Participants’ fingerprint codes were recorded into an unidentifiable ID number to make the dataset anonymous. The Tianjin Centers for Disease Control and Prevention questionnaire was developed for the target population and presurvey.
The target population of this study were YMSM who participated in the survey and resided in Tianjin during the study period.
