In a blended-care CBT intervention (combination of videoconference therapy sessions and personalized d MH activities), Wu et al [17] examined the predictors of program retention and found that engagement was poor if participants did not complete their assigned web-based activities early in treatment. Here, engagement was defined as the completion of both the first telehealth therapy session and assigned d MH activities after the session.

In contrast, retention refers to participants who completed the full study period through birth or at least 9 months.
Engagement, enrollment, and retention rates were stratified by different recruitment channels and race. Sociodemographic characteristics including age, race or ethnicity, and income per capita (US $) by zip code were compared across different recruitment channels. Enrolled participants were also asked to share their home zip code upon enrollment.

Clinical trial retention and adherence rates vary greatly across and within therapeutic areas [1-3]. Low adherence and retention increase costs and negatively impact data quality and the validity of research findings. Mitigating the various retention and adherence challenges in clinical trials is a major focus of clinical trial sponsors and researchers [4]. Studies can improve retention by strategically recruiting individuals or populations more likely to complete a trial [1].

This is the peer-review report for “The Impact of Rural Alimentation on the Motivation and Retention of Indigenous Community Health Workers in India: Qualitative Study.”
This paper [1] has given the impression that the researcher has done thorough homework before starting the research and it is evident in the paper. Case methodology and thematic analysis are a few of the approaches that depict the quality of the paper. Overall, as a reviewer, it is my opinion that the research paper is of quality.

Despite the potential impact of rural alimentation on CHWs’ motivation and retention, there is limited research on this topic in Jharkhand. Therefore, the study seeks to explore the question: “How does access to diverse and organic food in rural Jharkhand influence the motivation and retention of Indigenous community health workers?”
The study also aims to explore how Indigenous CHWs in Jharkhand perceive the impact of rural alimentation on their motivation and retention.

Many studies agree that biochemistry, among other basic sciences, has a low long-term retention [21-23]. Moreover, building on the previously mentioned impact of the duration of nonuse on retention [24], many studies indicate a strong association between poor biochemistry retention and the low perception of clinical prevalence of biochemistry [23]. Moreover, this low perception of clinical prevalence of biochemistry is also associated with low clinical performance [25-28].

The user retention rate, by comparison, is the fraction of participants who returned to perform the Floodlight Open tests n days after the activation of the Floodlight Open app. The retention rate is extensively used to measure the success of smartphone apps, with higher retention corresponding to higher adoption and level of engagement [28,29].
