The Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Sentinel Surveillance System in South Korea: Retrospective Evaluation Study

The Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Sentinel Surveillance System in South Korea: Retrospective Evaluation Study

The evaluation attributes included timeliness, stability, completeness, sensitivity, and representativeness (Multimedia Appendix 3). These attributes have been widely used to evaluate infectious disease surveillance performance at the country level [17,18]. For consistency and comparability, we used a quantitative scoring scale from 1 to 3 for each indicator: weak (1), moderate (2), and good (3), from January 1, 2017, to December 31, 2022.

Effect of Performance-Based Nonfinancial Incentives on Data Quality in Individual Medical Records of Institutional Births: Quasi-Experimental Study

Effect of Performance-Based Nonfinancial Incentives on Data Quality in Individual Medical Records of Institutional Births: Quasi-Experimental Study

Completeness refers to the presence of data elements in the targeted data set [67]. Within the RHIS, assessing the completeness of data elements mandates the presence of its corresponding services or medical procedures in health facilities [68]. Accordingly, this research evaluated the completeness of the 33 data elements where the guideline necessitates their recording [66].

Data Completeness and Concordance in the FeverApp Registry: Comparative Study

Data Completeness and Concordance in the FeverApp Registry: Comparative Study

Completeness is analyzed as informative mandatory. Concordance is defined as the correspondence of the value of a data element with a reference source. Concordance is usually used as a DQI for data structure [14], but it can also be regarded as a DQI for the completeness of data [20]. As an alternative for completeness, it would be possible to use the DQI concordance under awareness that the physician’s registry could be seen as the gold standard for the data quality of EMA.

Rates, Delays, and Completeness of General Practitioners’ Responses to a Postal Versus Web-Based Survey: A Randomized Trial

Rates, Delays, and Completeness of General Practitioners’ Responses to a Postal Versus Web-Based Survey: A Randomized Trial

The aim of our study was to determine through a randomized design whether Web-based surveys are feasible in primary care by assessing GPs’ participation rates, response times, and completeness of data using two modes of questionnaire delivery: postal and Web-based. This randomized trial was conducted in Western Switzerland (canton of Geneva and Vaud) and France (Alsace and Pays de la Loire) in 2015, as part of a study of GPs’ preventive practices.

Existing Models of Maternal Death Surveillance Systems: Protocol for a Scoping Review

Existing Models of Maternal Death Surveillance Systems: Protocol for a Scoping Review

Considering the importance of the issue, we propose a protocol for a scoping review covering the existing models of MDSSs with the objective of better understanding the factors that influence the completeness and usefulness of MDSSs. We propose to map and synthesize the available literature to identify and describe current models of MDSSs and explore factors affecting their completeness and usefulness.
