Examining Predictors of Depression and Anxiety Symptom Change in Cognitive Behavioral Immersion: Observational Study

Examining Predictors of Depression and Anxiety Symptom Change in Cognitive Behavioral Immersion: Observational Study

The Group Session Ratings Scale (GSRS) is a 4-item self-report measure of the working alliance measured on 10-point sliding scale [24]. Total scores can range from 4 to 40 with higher scores indicating greater levels of the group alliance. It has demonstrated acceptable validity and reliability [24,25]. Participants again were asked to complete this measure after each CBI session. Internal consistency for GSRS scores in this study was good (α=.85 at the first session).

Comparing Message-Based Psychotherapy to Once-Weekly, Video-Based Psychotherapy for Moderate Depression: Randomized Controlled Trial

Comparing Message-Based Psychotherapy to Once-Weekly, Video-Based Psychotherapy for Moderate Depression: Randomized Controlled Trial

In a small-scale study, 30 patients and 30 therapists in asynchronous message-based psychotherapy were able to form therapeutic alliance comparable to, if not better than, face-to-face therapy [16]. Individuals receiving asynchronous message-based psychotherapy also reported satisfaction with affordability, convenience, and flexibility [17].

The Significance of Alliance Networks in Research and Development of Digital Health Products for Diabetes: Observational Study

The Significance of Alliance Networks in Research and Development of Digital Health Products for Diabetes: Observational Study

Wherever new technologies are used in digital health, it is assumed that alliance networks are built, and that learning and performance are improved through them. In this study, we examined the relationship between network centrality and competitiveness by using the increase in total annual sales as a parameter to show an increase in competitiveness. Hypothesis 1: The more central a company is in an alliance network, the more competitive it is in the market.

The Association of Therapeutic Alliance With Long-Term Outcome in a Guided Internet Intervention for Depression: Secondary Analysis From a Randomized Control Trial

The Association of Therapeutic Alliance With Long-Term Outcome in a Guided Internet Intervention for Depression: Secondary Analysis From a Randomized Control Trial

Several meta-analyses positioned therapeutic alliance as a robust predictor of outcomes in face-to-face psychotherapy [1-3]. However, alliance effects do not seem to be limited to the field of traditional psychotherapy. Alliance also predicted outcomes in other health-related interventions, such as pharmacotherapy [4,5].

Measuring Alliance Toward Embodied Virtual Therapists in the Era of Automated Treatments With the Virtual Therapist Alliance Scale (VTAS): Development and Psychometric Evaluation

Measuring Alliance Toward Embodied Virtual Therapists in the Era of Automated Treatments With the Virtual Therapist Alliance Scale (VTAS): Development and Psychometric Evaluation

The relationship between therapist and patient during psychotherapy, referred to as alliance and measured by a number of instruments such as the Working Alliance Inventory (WAI) [1], is considered an important common factor shared by diverse treatments [2]. Alliance is conceptualized as requiring three distinct processes: agreement on therapeutic goals, consensus on tasks that make up therapy, and bond between therapist and patient [3].
