Using an Interactive Voice Response Survey to Assess Patient Satisfaction in Ethiopia: Development and Feasibility Study

Using an Interactive Voice Response Survey to Assess Patient Satisfaction in Ethiopia: Development and Feasibility Study

These studies assessed the feasibility of IVR messages for targeted client communication. One working paper assessed the feasibility of an IVR survey in Ethiopia to obtain nationally representative estimates at population levels [15]. To our knowledge, there has been no study assessing the use of IVR to measure patient satisfaction in Ethiopia.

Mobile Phone Syndromic Surveillance for Respiratory Conditions in an Emergency (COVID-19) Context in Colombia: Representative Survey Design

Mobile Phone Syndromic Surveillance for Respiratory Conditions in an Emergency (COVID-19) Context in Colombia: Representative Survey Design

Other studies in LMIC have used the interactive voice response (IVR) as an active surveillance system on behavior, exposure, knowledge, and perception related to COVID-19, but not as a syndromic surveillance system [6,15,16]. To our knowledge, there have been no published experiences of an active syndromic surveillance system on COVID-19 disease or other health emergencies using IVR as a data collection tool.

Use of Immersive Virtual Reality in Nursing Homes for People With Dementia: Feasibility Study to Assess Cognitive, Motor, and Emotional Responses

Use of Immersive Virtual Reality in Nursing Homes for People With Dementia: Feasibility Study to Assess Cognitive, Motor, and Emotional Responses

Similarly, for an i VR intervention to be sustainable in nursing homes, there should be no deterioration in motor performance, confusion, and anxiety after i VR use. The feasibility of i VR in terms of safe use in people with dementia regarding influencing motor, cognitive, or emotional factors is currently inconclusive [27,28]. Therefore, the primary aim of this study is to investigate the feasibility of using i VR in people with dementia or MCI in nursing homes from a safety perspective.

Formative Study of Mobile Phone Use for Family Planning Among Young People in Sierra Leone: Global Systematic Survey

Based on our GRADE evaluation, reviewed papers’ intervention channels include games, Facebook, Whats App, chatbots, SMS, interactive voice response (IVR), automated voice messages, call centers, and You Tube, as illustrated in Table 3. Call center and SMS are by far the most used channels from our findings. No study intervention used custom app, Whats App, or Twitter as an intervention channel.

Evaluation of Mechanisms to Improve Performance of Mobile Phone Surveys in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Research Protocol

Evaluation of Mechanisms to Improve Performance of Mobile Phone Surveys in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Research Protocol

This sub-study evaluates whether there is a differential effect in completion rates of an IVR-administered survey based on the incentive amount. Participants will be randomized to receive 1 of 3 incentive amounts, in the form of airtime, which will be sent to participants upon completion of the IVR survey.
