This research will evaluate a novel intervention, neurobehavioral affective control training (N-ACT), which is designed to target two trait-like facets of emotion dysregulation: (1) rumination, the tendency toward self-focused, past-oriented, repetitive negative thinking about the causes and consequences of negative affect [6,7]; and (2) emotion-related impulsivity (ERI; [8]), the tendency toward reduced behavioral control during states of high affective arousal [9], most commonly captured using measures of Urgency

Development of an Anticipatory Triage-Ranking Algorithm Using Dynamic Simulation of the Expected Time Course of Patients With Trauma: Modeling and Simulation Study

Depending on this “survival Time Without Treatment,” we could rank the urgency of treatment for a patient. To test this model on as many patients as possible, we consecutively generated a large-scale patient database, where each patient has a unique injury pattern and realistic corresponding vital parameters. We then ran our model with patients from the database to verify the temporal trend of parameters and the triage-ranking capacities, and we compared our model with established triage algorithms.
