Sanitary restrictions were often rapidly issued and modified to contain the spread of the disease [1-3]. Citizens were expected to make drastic behavioral changes.
Public health authorities stressed the seriousness and risks of the pandemic to justify restrictions and encourage citizens’ adherence to them.

The risk of an mpox outbreak became a public concern due to the large MSM population and the eased COVID-19 restrictions (eg, travel restrictions, social distancing) [9]. WHO recommended that the state parties with recently imported cases of mpox implement a coordinated response with a priority focus on the most affected communities [10].
Case detection and targeted immunization are powerful measures to fight the mpox outbreak [10-12].

Remote Communication and Loneliness During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Cross-Sectional Study
Women’s hopes for social relationships might not have been fulfilled during the pandemic with social restrictions, resulting in a weaker association between remote communication and low loneliness. Additional support beyond remote communication with family members living apart or with friends may be needed for women to alleviate their loneliness under high social restrictions.
Our study has several limitations.

However, due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, these opportunities were limited. As a result, social media may have played a crucial role for not only residency programs but also applicants going forward in the anesthesiology match process.
There are limited data regarding the impact of social media on residency recruitment.
