Levels and Predictors of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Regarding Contraception Among Female TV Studies Undergraduates in Nigeria: Cross-Sectional Study

Levels and Predictors of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Regarding Contraception Among Female TV Studies Undergraduates in Nigeria: Cross-Sectional Study

Simple logistic regression was used to determine the factor that is associated with contraception knowledge, attitudes, and practices, and to determine the candidate variables for the multivariable analysis. Variables with less than 10% probability were selected and added to the omnibus model to determine the predictors of contraception knowledge, attitudes, and practices.

SEARCH Study: Text Messages and Automated Phone Reminders for HPV Vaccination in Uganda: Randomized Controlled Trial

SEARCH Study: Text Messages and Automated Phone Reminders for HPV Vaccination in Uganda: Randomized Controlled Trial

To assess the primary outcome, we assessed the difference in proportions using χ2 tests and relative risk estimated from logistic regression. We also assessed for any interaction effects of doses due or language of messages (English or Luganda). The number needed to message for one additional vaccination was then calculated. In addition, the timeliness of vaccination was assessed using Kaplan-Meier analyses with log rank test. All analyses were intention to treat.

Identifying Data-Driven Clinical Subgroups for Cervical Cancer Prevention With Machine Learning: Population-Based, External, and Diagnostic Validation Study

Identifying Data-Driven Clinical Subgroups for Cervical Cancer Prevention With Machine Learning: Population-Based, External, and Diagnostic Validation Study

After identifying CCP subgroups, we extracted CCP-specific risks of outcomes of interest (C) conditionally on all predefined and algorithmically selected features through weighted logistic regression analyses providing average odds ratio (OR) estimates. Additionally, we stratified individuals based on their key features to conduct subgroup analyses.

Association Among BMI, Self-Esteem, and Nonsuicidal Self-Injury in Young Adults to Understand the Influence of Socioenvironmental Factors: Longitudinal Study

Association Among BMI, Self-Esteem, and Nonsuicidal Self-Injury in Young Adults to Understand the Influence of Socioenvironmental Factors: Longitudinal Study

Table 2 presents the correlation between independent variables and depression symptoms through multilevel linear regression analyses. There was a significant relationship between different BMI and NSSI (β=.056); after controlling for covariates, these relationships were also significant. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between self-esteem and NSSI (β=−.077); after controlling for covariates, this relationship was also significant.

Intention to Seek Mental Health Services During the 2022 Shanghai COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown: Web-Based Cross-Sectional Study

Intention to Seek Mental Health Services During the 2022 Shanghai COVID-19 City-Wide Lockdown: Web-Based Cross-Sectional Study

Multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed to estimate the adjusted association between participants’ demographics and socioeconomic status, stressors experienced during lockdown, external support, physical and mental health, and their intention to use mental health services. These factors were chosen either as primary interests or based on previous research and our data indicating they are either potential confounders or effect modifiers.

Association Between Climatic Factors and Varicella Incidence in Wuxi, East China, 2010-2019: Surveillance Study

Association Between Climatic Factors and Varicella Incidence in Wuxi, East China, 2010-2019: Surveillance Study

To our knowledge, this is the first study to apply the Poisson GAM and the Piecewise Linear Regression Model to explore the relationship between 7 climate variables and the incidence of varicella in Wuxi, in East China’s Huadong Region. The GAM incorporates the following covariates: First, a smoothing term is generated using a thin plate spline function with a maximum degree of freedom of 6 to account for long-term trends in the disease number sequence.

Digital Maturity as a Predictor of Quality and Safety Outcomes in US Hospitals: Cross-Sectional Observational Study

Digital Maturity as a Predictor of Quality and Safety Outcomes in US Hospitals: Cross-Sectional Observational Study

Consequently, different types of regression modeling approaches were required to examine the associations between digital maturity levels (underdeveloped versus advanced) and The Leapfrog Group's Hospital Safety Grades, practices, and outcomes. The regression methodologies used in each case are described in the following paragraphs.
