A 4D Theoretical Framework for Measuring Topic-Specific Influence on Twitter: Development and Usability Study on Dietary Sodium Tweets

We establish a relationship between general tweets and topic-specific tweets called as priority. Priority is defined as the percentage of topic-specific tweets (Nt) out of the user’s total number of tweets (N): Intuitively, priority measures the relative importance of a given topic within the organization or individual’s scope of work. Although less discussed in the literature, we argue that this measure is an important driver of tweeting patterns and should be considered in dissemination strategies.
