Some have suggested that the confinement of young people to their homes may lead to increases in the volume of playtime among this group and that these increases may be so extreme that playtime becomes problematic [18,19]. What constitutes a problematic volume of personal playtime is not well understood in the literature [22]. Increases in playtime may not always be considered harmful, and what constitutes excessive or problematic gaming will change depending on the person involved.
