Effectiveness of General Practitioner Referral Versus Self-Referral Pathways to Guided Internet-Delivered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression, Panic Disorder, and Social Anxiety Disorder: Naturalistic Study

Effectiveness of General Practitioner Referral Versus Self-Referral Pathways to Guided Internet-Delivered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression, Panic Disorder, and Social Anxiety Disorder: Naturalistic Study

Research comparing different referral pathways to mental health services remains limited. In a recent systematic review examining who benefits from guided internet-based interventions across mental health diagnoses, 88 predictors and moderators of treatment outcome were analyzed but referral pathway to treatment was not included [40]. A recent study recommends investigating referral pathways on patient outcomes [41]. However, some studies comparing referral pathways to psychological care already exist.

The Willingness of Doctors to Adopt Artificial Intelligence–Driven Clinical Decision Support Systems at Different Hospitals in China: Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis of Survey Data

The Willingness of Doctors to Adopt Artificial Intelligence–Driven Clinical Decision Support Systems at Different Hospitals in China: Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis of Survey Data

The core condition for both pathways S1a and S1b was performance expectancy, which played a dominant role in the pathways. The findings indicate that these doctors believe that AI-CDSSs are helpful in clinical work, can improve work efficiency, and can enhance work quality.

Enhancing Care Coordination in Oncology and Nononcology Thoracic Surgery Care Pathways Through a Digital Health Solution: Mixed Methods Study

Enhancing Care Coordination in Oncology and Nononcology Thoracic Surgery Care Pathways Through a Digital Health Solution: Mixed Methods Study

The oncology and nononcology thoracic surgery pathways, where the referral center (MUHC) and the affiliated center (CISSSO) must collaborate on a series of clinical and administrative activities, have a critical mass of patients that is very well suited to a pilot project that can be replicated in other specialties. Specifically, the care pathways involve a complex organization of resources and patient flows. There are many reasons to optimize the care pathways.

Data-Driven Exploration of National Health Service Talking Therapies Care Pathways Using Process Mining: Retrospective Cohort Study

Data-Driven Exploration of National Health Service Talking Therapies Care Pathways Using Process Mining: Retrospective Cohort Study

Furthermore, a review of the wider literature shows no evidence of the application of process mining to psychological therapy care pathways. The Scopus query “process mining” AND (“psychological therap*” OR “psychological intervention” OR “psychological treatment”) returned only 2 results. Neither of the returned studies explored the care pathway for psychological therapies using process mining.

Biological and Functional Changes in Healthy Adult Smokers Who Are Continuously Abstinent From Smoking for One Year: Protocol for a Prospective, Observational, Multicenter Cohort Study

Biological and Functional Changes in Healthy Adult Smokers Who Are Continuously Abstinent From Smoking for One Year: Protocol for a Prospective, Observational, Multicenter Cohort Study

Smoking affects multiple organ systems, disease pathways, and mechanisms, such as inflammation, oxidative stress, platelet activation, and lipid metabolism, simultaneously [5]. Owing to the abundant concurrent processes in disease pathways, there is no single biomarker that is considered as a validated surrogate measure reflecting the biological processes, physiological system, and/or a mechanism of action that is associated with, or actually known to contribute to, smoking-related diseases.

Evaluation of Biological and Functional Changes in Healthy Smokers Switching to the Tobacco Heating System 2.2 Versus Continued Tobacco Smoking: Protocol for a Randomized, Controlled, Multicenter Study

Evaluation of Biological and Functional Changes in Healthy Smokers Switching to the Tobacco Heating System 2.2 Versus Continued Tobacco Smoking: Protocol for a Randomized, Controlled, Multicenter Study

Thus, the demonstration of favorable changes in a set of CREs that are representative of multiple biological processes, physiological systems, and mechanistic pathways in smokers who switch to THS 2.2 is a reasonable approach to provide scientific evidence in a pre-market setting that THS 2.2 can reduce the risk of harm and smoking-related diseases.
