Addressing Preconception Behavior Change Through Mobile Phone Apps: Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

A systematic review by Overdijkink et al [17] found that mobile health apps for supporting lifestyle and pregnancy care in high-income countries can reduce gestational weight gain, increase the intake of vegetables and fruit, and aid in smoking cessation [17]; however, evidence is lacking on the effect of such apps during the preconception or interconception period.
