This paper outlines the protocol for this multicomponent implementation strategy, which evaluated key individual-level, inner-setting, and process-level determinants for the implementation of Pr EP service delivery in gynecology clinic settings. The intervention aimed to develop and refine a multicomponent implementation strategy (Pr EP4 Her) that integrated Pr EP in a gynecology clinic, which was then piloted to deliver Pr EP for Black cisgender women attending routine gynecologic care visits.

Recently, connected apps have been developed for use in gynecology and obstetrics [25]. There are probably other connected apps in the world in the field of fertility, but to date and to our knowledge, there are very few publications on this subject. Boivin et al [26] were interested in the development of a mobile app (Medi Emo) to provide support during medically assisted reproduction.

Their capacity to deliver accurate and detailed information showcased a depth of knowledge that is particularly impressive when juxtaposed with the level of COVID-19-related expertise observed among obstetrics and gynecology specialists. This comparison is drawn from findings in a previous survey [21], which revealed an average knowledge score of 75.6 (SD 10.6) among healthcare professionals in the field.

In addition to their research experience, team members have clinical expertise in psychology, rheumatology, health promotion, gynecology, and women’s health nursing.
The decision to use narrated animated videos was based on a review of 38 trials demonstrating the efficacy of this medium in improving knowledge about medical procedures, management of chronic conditions, health promotion, and disease prevention [21].

A study reported that only 25% of general practitioners feel adequately informed about endometriosis, though those with gynecology qualifications (58.9%) or continuing medical education in the field (19.6%) had better awareness [37]. In the general population, women’s knowledge about endometriosis in generally low. A study in a high-income country had only 4.5% reporting very good knowledge and about one-third indicating sufficient or good knowledge about endometriosis [38].

The patient-provider relationship in obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) presents unique complexities due to the sensitive nature of examinations and discussions. The patient provider relationship is further shaped by increasing emphasis on patient-centered care, which highlights the importance of patient needs, perspectives, beliefs, and values [1,2].

In addition to refining the models’ accuracy, we will explore their applicability across different medical fields, potentially extending beyond gynecology and obstetrics. The ultimate objective is to develop a dynamic, personalized anesthetic risk stratification framework that integrates multiple risk factors, uses advanced machine learning techniques, and leverages real-time data to substantially enhance the quality of patient care across health care settings.

Since the inception of oncology hashtags, we acknowledge the existence of the gynecology-specific hashtag #gyncsm [17]. We created the #go ASCO hashtags to study its impact as #gyncsm is used more by patients with gynecologic cancer and their advocates [18]. We should have examined the effect of #gyncsm during these virtual meetings, and this may be seen as a weakness, with no comparator group being available. Lastly, some of the “influential Twitter users” named in the results included a few authors.

The research team included a computer science professor, a computer science graduate student, a medical gynecologist oncology professor, a doctoral student in oncological gynecology, and a medical student.
All the researchers studied the ERAS program. After several meetings by the professionals involved in the project, the app’s focus was reached. Goals to be achieved by patients were also defined. Subsequently, the app’s functions, interface, and design were determined.
