Wastewater Surveillance Pilot at US Military Installations: Cost Model Analysis

Wastewater Surveillance Pilot at US Military Installations: Cost Model Analysis

Of the 26 AFBs, 17 recorded WWS data during the period from September 2021 to January 2022 (Figure 1), demonstrating that sewage can be safely sampled in a field environment and at a fixed lab. The procedures implemented at sites during the pilot were designed to collect and process wastewater samples once per week. There were 53 data submissions recorded, and those submissions amounted to 45 unique viable sample records.

The Impact of COVID-19 Health Measures on Adults With Multiple Chemical Sensitivity: Cross-Sectional Study

To assess the impact of COVID-19 public health measures, first, participants were asked to indicate if they were exposed (yes, no, or unsure) to chemical triggers from their living and the outdoor environment (ie, in indoor and outdoor air). Living environment items included home cleaning products; cooking odors and smoke; and outdoor items included pollution from industry, farming, and traffic.

Travel Distance Between Participants in US Telemedicine Sessions With Estimates of Emissions Savings: Observational Study

Travel Distance Between Participants in US Telemedicine Sessions With Estimates of Emissions Savings: Observational Study

Based upon these figures, we estimate that CMS-reimbursed telemedicine sessions represented 38% of a total of 72,873,363 telemedicine sessions that occurred in the United States in 2021, and we base our estimate of CO2 emissions savings on this number of sessions and the postpandemic policy environment of 2021 and 2022. We used multiple data sources describing national telemedicine use patterns to assess the representativeness of doxy.me data for national patterns of use [41-44].

An e-Learning Course to Train General Practitioners in Planetary Health: Pilot Intervention Study

General practitioners (GPs) hold the status of a reliable source of information for the public, particularly regarding health and the environment [8]. Most of them express concern and are in favor of changing their practices. However, they often find it difficult to translate this desire into action due to constraints such as lack of time, the complexity of their practice, the weight of established habits, and insufficient training on the subject [9].

The Primary Care and Environmental Health e-Learning Course to Integrate Environmental Health in General Practice: Before-and-After Feasibility Study

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, United Nations Environment Programme, WHO, and World Organisation for Animal Health have set a goal of creating healthier environments by 2030 in working together through the One Health initiative [3]. The French High Council for Public Health reiterated that achieving this goal was a political, financial, and scientific priority.
