Trial Factors Associated With Completion of Clinical Trials Evaluating AI: Retrospective Case-Control Study

Trial Factors Associated With Completion of Clinical Trials Evaluating AI: Retrospective Case-Control Study

Our study focused on clinical trials that evaluated AI technologies in at least 1 study arm to assess the characteristics of trial completion associated with primary AI interventions. We excluded exact duplicate trials but included separate trials evaluating the same AI intervention for different trial methods or targeted populations. We excluded ongoing trials given their unknown status of trial completion by the date of data collection needed for this study’s case-control design.

Sociodemographic, Health, and Lifestyle-Related Characteristics Associated With the Commencement and Completion of a Web-Based Lifestyle Educational Program for People With Multiple Sclerosis: Randomized Controlled Trial

Sociodemographic, Health, and Lifestyle-Related Characteristics Associated With the Commencement and Completion of a Web-Based Lifestyle Educational Program for People With Multiple Sclerosis: Randomized Controlled Trial

Course completion was defined as the completion of modules 1 to 6 as module 7 comprised a closing session and did not provide lifestyle-related information. For completion analyses, among course commencers (completers of module ≥1), course completers (completers of modules 1-6) were compared with course noncompleters (completers of module 1 but not module 6). Associations between participants’ sociodemographic, health, and lifestyle-related characteristics and course commencement were examined.

Enrollment and Completion Characteristics for Novel Remote Delivery Modes of the Self-management Programs During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Exploratory Analysis

First, we wanted to ascertain enrollment and completion characteristics among the different remote delivery modes of CDSME workshops offered in our health care network’s region during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Second, we wanted to determine the individual level characteristics that drove enrollment and completion across the different delivery modes.

Adherence to a Multidisciplinary Lifestyle Program for Patients With Atrial Fibrillation and Obesity: Feasibility Study

Adherence to a Multidisciplinary Lifestyle Program for Patients With Atrial Fibrillation and Obesity: Feasibility Study

Program completion and adherence to the treatment modules and changes in secondary endpoints (body weight and Atrial Fibrillation Severity Scale score) were analyzed by calculating descriptive statistics. A total of 10 participants participated in the feasibility study. The majority of participants were male (male: n=8; female: n=2; age: mean 57.2 years, SD 9.0; baseline weight: mean 107.2 kg, SD 11.8; baseline BMI: mean 32.4 kg/m2, SD 3.5).
