Business Venturing in Regulated Markets—Taxonomy and Archetypes of Digital Health Business Models in the European Union: Mixed Methods Descriptive and Exploratory Study

In the second phase, a cluster analysis was performed to develop archetypes of DHT business models. This method groups observations based on their similarities [71] and is the dominant mechanism for generating business model archetypes [43]. It is an objective and data-driven approach, thereby reducing potential biases. In addition, several clustering methods are available that enable fine-tuning and ensure that the clusters reflect meaningful and interpretable business model archetypes.

A Taxonomy and Archetypes of AI-Based Health Care Services: Qualitative Study

A Taxonomy and Archetypes of AI-Based Health Care Services: Qualitative Study

To ensure that our taxonomy can identify separable archetypes despite its extensive range, we performed the cluster analysis analogous to Gimpel et al [27], which is to say that we performed it for each of the identified dimensions separately. This cluster analysis revealed 13 archetypes of AI-based health care services that differ in their dominant design characteristics.

Standardizing Corneal Transplantation Records Using openEHR: Case Study

Archetypes are reusable, modular building blocks that describe the structure and content of clinical data elements. They define the data types, units, constraints, and other properties of specific clinical concepts, such as patient demographics, test results, and medication information [19,22]. In turn, templates are collections of archetypes that define a specific clinical record, such as a patient’s progress notes, a medication prescription, or a diagnostic test result.
