Visualizing YouTube Commenters’ Conceptions of the US Health Care System: Semantic Network Analysis Method for Evidence-Based Policy Making

Visualizing YouTube Commenters’ Conceptions of the US Health Care System: Semantic Network Analysis Method for Evidence-Based Policy Making

Previous research compared VOSviewer semantic networks to networks generated from manually coded Twitter text [26]. However, there have been few systematic evaluations of VOSviewer-generated semantic networks derived from social media data. Consequently, our overarching goal is to evaluate VOSviewer’s application to social media data: Can it produce credible semantic networks to be used as analytical and communication tools?

Evolution of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education From 2000 to 2024: Bibliometric Analysis

Evolution of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education From 2000 to 2024: Bibliometric Analysis

To present the knowledge structure and emerging research trends, VOSviewer (version 1.6.18; Leiden University), Incites (Clarivate), Interacti Venn (Universidade de São Paulo), and Citespace (Drexel University) were used. Incites is a research evaluation tool developed by Clarivate Analytics, and the scores of citation impact, H-index, journal impact factor, international collaborations, study influence, and immediacy index were directly obtained in Incites.

Medical Education and Artificial Intelligence: Web of Science–Based Bibliometric Analysis (2013-2022)

Medical Education and Artificial Intelligence: Web of Science–Based Bibliometric Analysis (2013-2022)

Numerous global bibliometric analyses have been conducted using Cite Space and VOSviewer in recent years. These analyses have focused on the comprehensive rehabilitation statuses and research trends of diseases such as cancer, ankylosing spondylitis, motor and neuropathic pain, and osteoarthritis [10-13]. However, to the best of our knowledge, a bibliometric analysis of AI’s application in medical education has yet to be implemented.

Development Trends and Prospects of Technology-Based Solutions for Health Challenges in Aging Over the Past 25 Years: Bibliometric Analysis

Microsoft Office Excel 2019, VOSviewer (v.1.6.20), and Cite Space (v.6.3.R1 Advanced) were used to analyze all 1172 files. VOSviewer, a bibliometric software, was developed in 2009 by van Eck and Waltman [18] at Leiden University’s Center for Science and Technology Studies in the Netherlands. This Java-based software is free to use and is highly proficient in visualizing and analyzing large-scale data [18].

Chinese Health Insurance in the Digital Era: Bibliometric Study

Chinese Health Insurance in the Digital Era: Bibliometric Study

VOSviewer has better visualization in network and cluster analysis than other software, and the scientometric graphs conform better to current academic research styles. VOSviewer was developed by Nees Jan van Eck and Ludo Waltman and features a powerful bibliometric maps function that can clearly visualize the network of literature, keywords, authors, etc [14].

Global Trends in mHealth and Medical Education Research: Bibliometrics and Knowledge Graph Analysis

Global Trends in mHealth and Medical Education Research: Bibliometrics and Knowledge Graph Analysis

VOSviewer (version 1.6.17) was used for cocitation correlation analysis and knowledge mapping [10]. VOSviewer (version 1.6.17) [11] and Pajek64 (version 5.16) were used jointly to analyze the current state of research and time trends. Visualization of country/region coauthorship trends was achieved using the combined powerful mapping capabilities of VOSviewer (version 1.6.17) and SCImago Graphica (version 1.0.34).

Application of AI in Sepsis: Citation Network Analysis and Evidence Synthesis

Application of AI in Sepsis: Citation Network Analysis and Evidence Synthesis

To ensure compatibility with Bibliometrix and VOSviewer [12], we saved the data in the “**.txt” format, a format recognized by both tools for conducting analyses. Our data set encompasses a comprehensive range of information, including titles, list of authors, name of countries, list of institutions, abstracts, keywords, name of journals, and publication dates.

Digital Health Literacy: Bibliometric Analysis

Digital Health Literacy: Bibliometric Analysis

Currently popular tools include VOSviewer [33], Cite Space [34], Bib Excel [35], Hist Cite [35], and others. We selected VOSviewer and Cite Space as our analysis tools. The reason for this was that VOSviewer has better visualization in network and cluster analysis, and Cite Space is better in literature timeline analysis. A combination of these two tools can better achieve our research goals.
