Follow-up interview themes addressed participants’ increased Secure Messaging utilization, learning about Secure Messaging through interviews, and self-care management. A minority of participants cited learning more about Secure Messaging during their initial interview, particularly about reasons for using Secure Messaging and different features such as the folders and the option to receive notification via personal (non-VA) email when a secure message is received.
