The need for digital information and connection has evolved in the last 2 decades [2] and in particular since the COVID-19 pandemic with a reliance on the digital world to connect.

Reaction on Twitter to a Cluster of Perinatal Deaths: A Mixed Method Study
A national cross-sectional survey from 2015 indicated that 26% of the Irish population use Twitter, with one in three of those people using Twitter daily [8]. However, a tweet extends far beyond the individual status as it includes its audience; those who may read the tweet, retweet and/or reply [9]. As any status update can be seen quickly by a very large audience [10], Twitter must be considered a platform for rapid and immediate communication.
