A Silver Fluoride Intervention to Improve Oral Health Trajectories of Young Indigenous Australians: Protocol for a Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial

A Silver Fluoride Intervention to Improve Oral Health Trajectories of Young Indigenous Australians: Protocol for a Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial

Roberts-Thomson et al [16] used a silver fluoride (Ag F) intervention among remote-dwelling Indigenous children and reported that children exposed to the intervention had less dental pain, dental extractions, use of antibiotics for dental infections, and fillings than children not exposed to the intervention. Ag F was reportedly well accepted, easy to use, and at least as effective as conventional dental care (fillings and extractions).
