Unipolar depression and anxiety are the second and seventh leading causes of years lived with disability in the world among all health problems, respectively, according to the World Health Organization [1]. The 12-month point prevalence of unipolar depression, anxiety disorder, and mixed anxiety and depression is 15% in the United Kingdom [2] and ranges from 4% to 20% across 14 different developed and nondeveloped countries in the world [3].
