The GAD-7 has demonstrated good internal consistency (α=.89) and good test-retest reliability (r=0.83) [42]. The reliability was good to excellent for this study (α=.87-.91; ω=0.87-0.92). The PCL-5 is a 20-item measure of each of the 4 clusters of PTSD (ie, intrusive thoughts, avoidance, negative alterations in mood, and alterations in arousal and reactivity). Items are rated on a 5-point Likert-type scale ranging from 0 (not at all) to 4 (extremely).

We ran the imputations and GEE models in R version 4.0.3 using the mice [54] and geepack [55] packages. The effectiveness of the PSP Wellbeing Course was evaluated by examining Hedges g and proportional reductions in symptoms. Hedges g is calculated as the difference in means between pretreatment and posttreatment divided by the pooled SD and multiplied by a small-sample bias correction.
