Preoperative Virtual Reality to Expose Patients With Breast Cancer to the Operating Room Environment: Feasibility and Pilot Case Series Study

We used the Oculus Rift S VR system (Meta Platforms) with a cable connection to a laptop computer for the intervention administration. This study was approved by the University of Manitoba Health Research Ethics Board (#HS23957). All participants provided written informed consent before participation. No participant-identifying information was included with the study data. Each participant was assigned a study identification number, which was used to collate participant data over the study duration.
