The Clinical Effectiveness of Blended Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Compared With Face-to-Face Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Adult Depression: Randomized Controlled Noninferiority Trial

For further description of the measures used, we refer to Mathiasen et al [36]. Characteristics of the sample at baseline was described using descriptive statistics and compared across groups using unpaired t tests for continuous variables and chi-square tests for categorical variables. If continuous variables violated the assumption of normality, nonparametric tests were used (Kruskal-Wallis/Wilcoxon signed-rank test). In cases of small cell sizes, exact tests were used (Fisher exact test).
