Future research may consider adopting a similar approach to overcome the high rates of attrition and low adherence reported in prior CBM research (eg, the studies by Wiers et al [38] and Ji et al [43]). However, it should be noted that the adherence rates were lower than those reported in feasibility studies of internet-delivered or app-based IBM programs that are coupled with in-person reminders and motivational enhancement by primary care providers (eg, 75% [98,99]).
