Participants began in a seated position and were instructed to rise without using their arms to push off, walk 3 m, negotiate around an obstacle (rubber cone), return to their chair, and sit back down. Participants were allowed 1 practice trial and then completed each test twice with the best time (ie, lowest) score used for statistical analysis.
Posture was measured using a variety of methods designed to identify areas of postural deficiency.
