Other factors such as the effect of users' familiarity with technology and the impact of learning on the performance of measured DB in remote and self-administered PD assessment are other important sources of variation that have not been addressed so far. All of these factors may limit the sensitivity and reliability of DB measurements for any of the above PD clinical applications. DB longitudinal variation is therefore an important attribute that should be quantified and addressed.
