Addressing the Digital Divide Among the Older Population Presents a Substantial Challenge

This observation raises the concern that, despite the pervasive presence of advanced technologies in modern life, certain older individuals may be effectively left behind. This phenomenon, known as the digital divide, has garnered increasing attention in recent years [2]. Data Parameters From Participatory Surveillance Systems in Human, Animal, and Environmental Health From Around the Globe: Descriptive Analysis

SMART for Health includes parameters to record the health of free-ranging livestock that may be present in protected natural habitats. Most of these systems were developed with the goal of syndromic wildlife disease surveillance except for 2 systems— one that was designed to collect data on geographic distribution and abundance of wild mammalian species and another that focuses on early detection of invasive wildlife species [13].

Benefits and Barriers to mHealth in Hypertension Care: Qualitative Study With German Health Care Professionals

This lack of compensation may cause some HCPs to be hesitant to use digital tools, as it may entail additional tasks without financial compensation. Although m Health apps offer many benefits, they may not be suitable for all patients. Older people or those with limited digital capabilities may have difficulty using digital applications. In addition, some patients, especially those with hypertension, may overmeasure their blood pressure, which can negatively impact their blood pressure levels.

The Prognostic Significance of Sleep and Circadian Rhythm for Myocardial Infarction Outcomes: Case-Control Study

The Prognostic Significance of Sleep and Circadian Rhythm for Myocardial Infarction Outcomes: Case-Control Study

While abundant evidence supports the correlation of heart rate variability (HRV) with the prognosis of MI [21], actigraphy may also provide valuable insights. A study has identified its correlation with the outcomes of patients with heart failure [22], while the study by Peter-Marske et al [23] discovered associations of actigraphy-measured physical activity and sedentary behavior with the incidence of cardiovascular disease, MI, and ischemic stroke.

The Research Agenda for Perinatal Innovation and Digital Health Project: Human-Centered Approach to Multipartner Research Agenda Codevelopment

The HCD approach goes beyond simply working with the end user to focus on their interaction with the technology and considers the broader social context in which the technology is used and other partners who may indirectly be impacted by the use of the technology [4,5]. The result of working in partnership with people under these assumptions using the HCD approach is meant to be a product or service that meets real human needs and reflects their values.

Testing a Web-Based Interactive Comic Tool to Decrease Obesity Risk Among Racial and Ethnic Minority Preadolescents: Randomized Controlled Trial

In the short term, obesity in youth may lead to issues such as an increased risk of elevated blood pressure and lipid concentrations, anxiety, and depression [5,6]. In the long term, adverse health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and disabilities, can manifest in youth who are obese and be maintained into adulthood [7-10].

A Mobile App for Promoting Breastfeeding-Friendly Communities in Hong Kong: Design and Development Study

If you need to do all the work by yourself, you may be unable to have a timely update…. This could significantly affect me if the information is outdated. If I go to the baby-care facility and discover it has been demolished, it will waste my time and mess up my plan. To prolong the usage of the app, participants suggested allowing them to enter feeding or baby information, such as feeding time or body weight of the infants.

Digital Transformation of Rheumatology Care in Germany: Cross-Sectional National Survey

In addition, the terminology used in this survey for DHTs may have caused confusion among participants, potentially leading to information bias. In addition, our survey reached a selected population from 3 outpatient clinics. This also applies to the selection of study participants, as we assume that individuals with a specific interest in digital health were more likely to have completed our questionnaire.
