After arriving in French Guiana, people’s living conditions deteriorate, not only in terms of housing but also socially and administratively—many people arriving and living in French Guiana do not have a residence permit [4].
French Guiana also faces major health challenges. In 2020, life expectancy at birth was still lower than in continental France in a context of dynamic birth rates [6,7].

Many mobile apps are available to support people with CLBP in self-management, mainly providing exercise recommendations or information about the mechanisms of CLBP. These apps score poorly on the Mobile Application Rating Scale (a scale to assess app quality), and do not mention the theoretical approaches on which they are based [30-32].

Cybersecurity and Privacy Issues in Extended Reality Health Care Applications: Scoping Review
Many of these sensors (such as eye tracking, microphones, cameras, hand tracking, and motion tracking) are inherit to HMDs and have multiple software components. These components generate an enormous amount of data on a user, which is required to create an immersive experience. However, this monitoring also creates the potential for significant privacy violations if these data are mishandled.

Nevertheless, the reuse of health care data (and especially primary care data) faces many challenges [9,10,24-27]. The abovementioned projects collect data from millions of patients by implementing local data models. A UK project uses a national database (Bio Bank) to standardize vaccination data into a common data model (CDM) format [28].

However, the interpretation of the large amount of data that are generated by the sensors is still a major challenge because vital sign measurements fluctuate largely during the day and are influenced by movement and many patient-related or environmental factors [15]. Moreover, continuous manual data observation is hampered by restricted staffing levels in a ward setting and inconsistent assessment of abnormalities by caregivers [16].

To achieve this, a large number of users are required, as many app users disengage.
Studying the efficacy of behavioral change apps should optimally be performed among those users who engage (ie, who use the app as intended) [30]. This differs from research on the adoption of such apps, which can be performed using a random sample to assess the engagement of the average user with the app.
