School-Based Virtual Reality Programming for Obtaining Moderate-Intensity Exercise Among Children With Disabilities: Pre-Post Feasibility Study

School-Based Virtual Reality Programming for Obtaining Moderate-Intensity Exercise Among Children With Disabilities: Pre-Post Feasibility Study

Without making substantial changes to a student’s school schedule, 30 minutes in a single day is likely the most that can be inserted into a student’s schedule, specifically in their study hall period. This dose is similar to other feasibility studies attempting to insert external exercise programs into school settings [13,28,29]. Most schools in the United States require physical education, but requirements vary widely.

After 3 cycles, a cycle being a consecutive 5-day period in a month, biological age was reduced by a median of 2.5 years [19]. Zone 2 physical activity, or continuous, moderate aerobic physical activity corresponding to the near lactate threshold (4 m M blood lactate), shows greater benefits than other types of aerobic physical activity for improving cardiovascular risk factors [20,21]. Common examples of this type of activity include brisk walks, light jogs, and cycling for a continuous interval of time.

Improving Early Dementia Detection Among Diverse Older Adults With Cognitive Concerns With the 5-Cog Paradigm: Protocol for a Hybrid Effectiveness-Implementation Clinical Trial

In the clinics randomized to the intervention arm, patients with a positive cognitive concern are invited to undergo additional cognitive screening (the 5-Cog battery) at the clinic on the day of their office visit, just before they see their care provider. Patients who agree are considered recruited, with enrollment confirmed once they complete their scheduled office visit.

Participants also found the pill bottle easy to operate and intuitive, sharing positive experiences as follows: Because I’m not really good with taking it at a certain time every day, at the same time every day. And so I feel like the Clever Cap helped me with that...It does remind me, because I always see it, versus me keeping it in a white bottle. When I see the Clever Cap on my dresser, it just reminds me. “Okay, it’s time to take your medicine.”...The functions of the Clever Cap were easy to use.

Public Awareness of and Attitudes Toward the Use of AI in Pathology Research and Practice: Mixed Methods Study

This was emphasized in relation to both increasing basic awareness of what AI is and supporting the public in understanding the inner workings of AI in pathology through accessible yet detailed explanations or demonstrations to “see the AI in action” (man; aged 62 years): The general public has been hearing about AI now for many years but I still believe there is a lot of confusion about the genuine benefits that it can bring and still feels like a “concept” rather than technology that is with us day to day
