Dr. Lawrence Mbuagbaw is a Research Methods Consultant and Clinical Epidemiologist. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University and Director of the Biostatistics Unit at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where he supports the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical research. His research focuses on methodological approaches, engagement in HIV care, mHealth, and health systems strengthening.

Cynthia Lokker, PhD, MSc

Dr. Cynthia Lokker is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University, and a health research methodologist with the Health Information Research Unit. Her research centers on leveraging machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval to support evidence-based medicine and knowledge translation. She has extensive expertise in digital health and evaluating mobile health applications.
