Effect of a Smartphone App (S-Check) on Actual and Intended Help-Seeking and Motivation to Change Methamphetamine Use Among Adult Consumers of Methamphetamine in Australia: Randomized Waitlist-Controlled Trial

Health interventions supported by mobile devices (m Health) are a promising mode of delivering early interventions to people who use drugs. As demonstrated in other mental health and substance use disorders, m Health offers advantages in privacy and access over traditional face-to-face services and may facilitate help-seeking [12-16]. There are no m Health interventions such as smartphone apps that have been shown to be effective in encouraging behavioral changes in people who use methamphetamine [17].

Robblee et al [17] described the experiences of patients in whom more than 10 medications had failed and who were treated with monoclonal antibody drugs. Each of these studies has limitations, such as recall bias (retrospective self-reporting), selection bias, incorrect self-diagnosis, lost or missing data, and limited data on retrospective and prospective follow-ups as the baseline [14-17].

Automated System to Capture Patient Symptoms From Multitype Japanese Clinical Texts: Retrospective Study

We selected taxane drugs, such as paclitaxel and docetaxel for the evaluation, as they frequently cause PN. As shown in Figure 2, patients receiving either type of taxane drugs were included in the analysis, whereas those receiving both paclitaxel and docetaxel were excluded. Patients selected according to these criteria were then analyzed for the development of PN as an outcome. Flowchart describing the procedure for selecting patient data according to criteria.
