Jing et al [74] also found that the myotube diameter and distribution area of C2 C12 myoblasts that were exposed to 10 to 4 M BPS decreased significantly compared with the control group. Our study has several limitations. First, bisphenol exposure was measured using the urine of the NHANES participants. However, it is widely acknowledged that urinary BPA and its derivatives do not fully reflect bisphenol exposure.
